Angie Harmon, famous for ‘Law and Order‘, accuses an Instacart delivery man of shooting and killing her dog, Oliver, after delivering an order to her home.
The incident occurred over the Easter weekend, and the man claimed he acted in self-defense. Instacart has suspended the delivery man’s profile and is collaborating with the authorities to investigate the incident. Harmon’s allegations led to a public response from the company, stating they do not tolerate violence of any kind.
Law enforcement authorities also conducted an investigation and concluded that there was no basis for criminal charges against the delivery man.
Harmon expressed her outrage on social media, stating that the delivery man showed no signs of being attacked by the animal and that the shooting occurred without apparent reason:
“This Easter weekend, a man delivering groceries for Instacart killed our precious Oliver. He got out of the car, delivered the food, and then shot our dog. Our camera was charging in the house, which he saw and knew he was not being recorded. The police released him claiming ‘self-defense.’ He didn’t have a scratch or bite on him nor were his trousers torn. […] He shot our dog while my daughters were home and kept saying: ‘Yes, I shot your dog. Yes, I shot.’ We are completely traumatized and devastated by the loss of our dear boy and family member.”
The incident has stirred emotions among Harmon’s followers and the online community, with many expressing support for the actress and calling for justice.
